Dickcar’s Smart Car Display Product Design Wins Red Dot Award
Dickcar won the 2024 Red Dot Award for Brands & Communication Design for its “Unbounded Vision” smart car display product design. This not only demonstrates Dickcar’s outstanding design skills but also demonstrates its ability to keep pace with the times. The Red Dot Award, an international design competition hosted by the European Design Association (Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen) in Germany, has been held for 70 years and is one of the most important, largest, and most authoritative design awards in the global industrial design community. Along with the American IDEA Design Award and the German IF Design Award, it is considered one of the world’s three most prestigious design awards and is known as the “Oscars of the design world.”

About the Design of Dickcar’s “Unbounded Vision” Smart Car Display
The design of the “Unbounded Vision” smart car display was meticulously crafted by Dickcar’s Industrial Design Center (a national-level industrial design center). Based on the concept of “Unbounded Vision,” the design aims to break the sensory and emotional boundaries of traditional human-machine interfaces (HMIs) and create an expansive, free, borderless, and natural immersive digital cockpit experience.
When equipped with Dickcar’s smart screen products, the cockpit features a 15″ ultra-wide, integrated, full-width screen, providing users with a wide field of view and high-definition imagery. The display interface utilizes a 3D scene-based design, making in-car entertainment, navigation, driver assistance, and instrument display functions more intuitive, user-friendly, and accurate. Simulating real-world natural themes such as a boundless sky, distant mountains, and a horizon greatly enhances the interactive nature of function operation and visual immersion.
As an indispensable driving partner for future smart cars and the intelligent upgrade of older vehicles, Dickcar’s multi-sensory intelligent assistant is the core of the cockpit HMI interface. Presented as a vivid 3D light cone on the display interface, it not only communicates with users through voice, images, and text, but also uses an emotion recognition system to sense their emotions and needs, proactively providing customized services such as seat massage, fragrance activation, theme changes, and music playback, creating a scene and atmosphere that meets the user’s expectations.
